Urban Decay: Abandoned Gulliver’s Travels Themepark in Japan
Only open for a few years before closing down in 2001, the ruins remained untouched by most human hands - save a few industrious graffiti artists - for several more years before eventually succumbing to the bulldozer of change. But it also shared an interesting neighborhood: such as the nearby landmark of Kamikuishiki village(the former location of the Aum Shinrikyo doomsday cult’s sarin gas manufacturing facilities) and the “Sea of Trees,” a rural forest that also happens to be one of Japan’s premier suicide destinations.
